Getting into the studio.

How do I book my first session?
Pick a plan on the pricing page and check out through Stripe. Your account opens right away, and from there you schedule your first session on our Cal.com calendar. No sales call, no waiting on a reply.
How often do we come in?
You choose the rhythm that fits your family. Most come in every three months, some every two, and a few make it a monthly ritual. You can change the cadence any time from your account.
Can we reschedule a session?
Yes. Log into your account and move the date on the Cal.com calendar. Life happens with kids and grandparents, so shifting a session takes a minute and costs nothing.
How far ahead do sessions book?
The calendar opens a few weeks out and fills fastest around holidays and school breaks. Book your next visit when you leave the studio and you always get the time you want.

The session itself.

What if we're nervous on camera?
Everyone is at first. The room is warm, the couch is soft, and the microphone fades from memory after the first minute. Once your family starts talking, the camera disappears and the real conversation takes over.
How long is a session?
Sessions run 60 to 75 minutes for up to five people. That is enough time to settle in, warm up, and get to the stories that matter without anyone feeling rushed.
Can young kids take part?
Absolutely. Some of the best footage comes from a five year old answering a question their own way. We keep the pace gentle and let kids be kids, on the record.
Can we bring a grandparent?
Please do. A grandparent telling a story only they know is the reason many families start recording. As long as you stay within five people per session, everyone is welcome.
Is there a host in the room?
A host is optional. If you want, one of our team sits in to ask questions and keep the conversation moving. If you would rather talk on your own, we set the room and step out.

What you take home.

What do we actually get?
It depends on your tier. Keepsake gives you the full session, lightly edited and cleaned up. Story adds three to five short captioned clips with music and color. Legacy includes everything in Story plus a yearly highlight film that ties your visits together.
How soon are films delivered?
Your finished films land in your private library about two weeks after the session. Every frame is color corrected, sound cleaned, and ready to watch.
Can we get short clips to share?
Yes, on the Story and Legacy tiers. Along with your full film you get three to five captioned clips, cut for a phone screen, so you can send the best moments to family right away.
ownership and privacy

Whose footage this is.

Who owns the footage?
You do, every frame. The moment we film it, the footage belongs to your family. We keep an edited copy to deliver your films, and the raw and finished work is always yours.
Where is it stored?
In a private library that only your family sees. You log in, you watch, you download. No public link, no shared feed, no one else looking in.
Do you ever use our footage publicly?
Only with your written permission. We never post, market, or share a family's footage without asking first and getting a yes in writing. The default is private and it stays that way unless you decide otherwise.
What about the kids' privacy?
Consent comes first, always. Nothing with a child in it goes anywhere beyond your private library without a parent saying yes in writing. Your children's footage is yours to protect.

How payment works.

How does payment work?
Everything runs through Stripe. Pay month to month on a recurring plan, or prepay the six or twelve month term for a discount. Your card is charged on the same day each cycle and every receipt sits in your account.
Can I prepay a year?
Yes, and it saves you money. Prepay a six or twelve month term up front and you lock in a lower rate than paying monthly. One charge, the whole year of sessions covered.
What is the custom option?
For families who want something outside the three tiers, we start with a short intake, then send a tailored quote by email. Larger groups, extra sessions, or a special project all fit here.
Can I cancel or pause?
Any time, from your account. Pause when life gets busy and pick up where you left off, or cancel outright. Your films and your private library stay yours no matter what you decide.
